About GetSeenHQ
Critique, not hype
GetSeenHQ is a launch board for technical founders. You list a product that people can use today, other people score it on six axes, and every score comes with a written critique. Then you answer in public: reply to the critiques and show what you fixed.
Why it exists
Most launch sites reward whoever can bring the most upvotes on launch day. That tells a founder who their friends are, not what's wrong with their product. GetSeenHQ is built for the opposite: specific, honest critique you can act on, and a public record of how you responded.
How it's different
- Every score is explained. Products are rated 1 to 5 on market need, distinction, value, timing, onboarding and positioning, and critiques are tied to the axis they score.
- Founders answer in public. Each listing shows whether the founder has replied to its critiques.
- Reviewers are rewarded for useful critiques, never for positive or negative ones. Founders and readers mark critiques Useful; that's what earns reviewer levels.
- Only real products. Everything listed must be usable today, and is marked Beta or Shipping. No mockups, waitlists or concept pages.
- Money can't buy a better score. No payment changes scores or removes critiques.
Who writes the critiques
Anyone with a free account. Reviewers have public usernames and profile pages, and reviewer levels show who has a track record of useful critiques. We don't verify identities or expertise, so read critiques as opinions from the people who wrote them. The Top Reviewers page explains how levels work.
Who runs it
GetSeenHQ is built and run by Gene at NGKsSystems, a software company (ngkssystems.com). NGKsSystems' own products are listed on the board too, and they're scored and critiqued under exactly the same rules as everyone else's.
GetSeenHQ isn't connected to any other company or app called GetSeen.
